A-ko have a gig at the begining of August in Glasgow at everybodys favorite venue/shop/event-hangout, Mono. It's a three band bill as part of Club Beetroot. Here are the details:

Hey, we've got a London show happening in a couple of weeks time . We are writing a special Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine influenced shoegazing set for the occasion, in honour of Club AC30 and all the support they have shown us. This is intended to get us used to performing as a three piece again and to stretch our playing and songwriting. We've never written a whole set in three months before, it's sounding great and there will also be a cover of a classic shoegazing song. Hi everyone, thanks for your patience and apologies for the extended hiatus, but after a few changes wer're back with some news. We have to report that our guitarist of the past two years, Steven Ward, has had to quit due to the demands of his ever more successful career as a sound engineer working with some of Scotland's premier bands. We're sad to see him go but can only wish him the best of luck. |
